Domaine de Chantageasse - La Grive Gîte 6 pers

Welcome to Domaine de Chantageasse, an authentic 17th century Charentaise estate near the small village of Asnières la Giraud. A unique place with a beautiful courtyard, gardens, swimming pool (unheated, open May to September), playgrounds, 6 cottages and 4 guest rooms. Surrounded by vineyards and agricultural fields but with quick access to the main road to Saint Jean d'Angély, the nearest town for shopping, the market and restaurants. The space Gîte La Grive is located between gîtes L'Hirondelle and La Sittelle, in the courtyard/garden of the estate. It is a spacious cottage with old details and Charentais walls. A cozy cottage with living space with kitchen, living room, dining table on the ground floor and additional toilets and a technical room in the hallway. The smart TV in your vacation rental can be used for screen sharing of your device (smartphone etc.) with your own streaming service, there are now no TV channels. The kitchen is fully equipped: - dishwasher - refrigerator - freezer (technical room) - cooktop (gas) - oven and microwave - kettle and Philips Senseo coffee maker Upstairs are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds and a bunk bed. The bathroom with walk-in shower and sink is located in the hallway with separate toilet. The windows in the bedrooms and the living room are equipped with mosquito nets. On the terrace in front of La Grive you will find a garden table with chairs and umbrella. Facilities such as BBQ, sun loungers, bicycles are in the common areas. Guest access La Grive gîte and the terrace in front of the gîte are completely at your sole disposal. The rest of the estate are common areas. Other things to note - It is possible to book breakfast (in the big house, buffet) for €8.50 per person. Booking no later than 5 p.m. - Our bakery service allows you to order bread and pastries for the next day. Booking no later than 5 p.m. - Next to the pool is 'Ze Frigo', a self-service with (non-)alcoholic drinks, some snacks, ice cream and frozen pizzas. - There is a shared washing machine for €4.50 per wash, including laundry. - Bath towels are not included but can be rented on site.
