Travelers Haven - Private Suite

Welcome to this remodeled Private Queen-Bedroom Suite with a full-size futon sleeper, and en-suite full bathroom. With it's central location in Carlsbad, it is perfect for guests who want to visit the Carlsbad Caverns, Guadalupe National Park, and many other fun activities in Carlsbad and surrounding areas. It's close to the best restaurants in town, and the grocery store! The space Please read all the info in the listing before booking. This private suite is “NOT DETACHED” and is located at the end of the main house. It has private access through the back of the house and has a private bathroom inside the bedroom itself. The only "shared" space will be the patio outside in the backyard. However, there is a shared wall and adjoining door (by the washer and dryer) with another Airbnb listing. It is completely separate and locked at all times. It has a double deadbolt lock that only the host and/or cleaners have access to. We have provided noise reduction curtains on either side of the door. On rare occasions, please know that you may hear the guests staying next door. Spacious private queen-bedroom, with en-suite full bathroom, and a full-size futon sleeper. This bedroom can accommodate 3 adults. The futon converts into a full-size bed that can sleep one adult or two small children. If you are traveling with small children please reach out, we may be able to accommodate you. A white noise machine, and/or earplugs will be provided inside the bedroom, and available to you at your convenience. This private suite has a flat-screen TV, Blu-ray DVD player that has access to apps such as Netflix and Hulu, a dresser, and lots of closet space. There are a couple of coffee shops & breakfast spots just a few minutes from the home including Starbucks. We do provide a small coffee bar & cups, as well as a purified water dispenser. We love pets so please feel free to bring them with you. We allow 1-2 small to medium size pets that are potty trained. There is a fenced-in yard for your pets to utilize. Guest access Guests have access to the bedroom, back patio/deck, private bathroom, the street for parking, as well as use the laundry room. The rest of the home is private, there may be additional guests staying in the front house. During your stay Although I do not live on the property, I am almost always available by text. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns! I only live about 10 minutes away so I am available if you need me! Other things to note Carlsbad Caverns - 35 min drive Guadalupe National Park - 55 min drive Living Desert State Park - 10 min drive Carlsbad Water Park - 5 min drive, 20 min walk The home has security cameras outside the home. The thermostat is located in the main house. Should you need to have the temperature adjusted, please message me so I can coordinate with the guests in the front house. There is also a portable floor heater provided for use during the winter. For guests who are light sleepers, we have provided bark control devices around the property, sound machines inside all bedrooms, and earplugs to help ensure uninterrupted sleep. There is no stove or kitchen sink. This private bedroom suite is ATTACHED to the rest of the house. This private suite will be like booking a hotel room where other guests are renting another room in the same building. The main difference is that this private room was personally renovated and decorated by the owners, with your comfort in mind and at a more affordable price.
