Venue offers all the modern conveniences in the center of fishing, hiking, rock climbing, 4 wheeling. Reasonably priced, immaculate accommodations. Great Wi-Fi provides a work/play option. Dining, food supplies, and fuel are steps away at the General Store and grill. Beautifully restored, tiny historic treasure (studio). The space Kitchen is complete, less a dishwasher. W/D is a stack set in basement accessible by a permanent ladder with handholds. This is not a conventional staircase. Natural gas heat as well as a wood burning stove in great room (composition logs only), available at any grocery store. Maple Canyon camping spots are usually booked a year in advance. This is your chance to go anytime you want and not tote an RV or camping gear. No partying or loud noise. No smoke. Noise and partying rules are strictly enforced. Note: The basement is not finished. I do not recommend this venue for small children. The basement access is secure, but if an adult were to leave it open a child could be injured. Please no small children, for safety's sake. Kids 2-12 are not recommended. Guest access There is ample parking in front as well as a private parking space (fenced) within the back yard. Maple Canyon is world famous for rock climbing and hiking (ten miles from your door). Log canyon, Nebo Loop Scenic drive, Skyline Drive and Arapeen Trail are breathtaking. Hiking abounds, but Mt. Nebo, with it's 11,000 foot summits is a hikers heaven. Payson Canyon and the nearby Fairview area offer fishing, to mention a few. The Devil's Kitchen is an unexpected Red Rock outcropping of hodoos nearby. Fishing at nearby Payson Lakes and above Fairview. Much to do in Sanpete County. It's above the smog. Crystal clean air and water. Other things to note Noise ordinances are enforced. No partying, loud noise, or animal nuisances. 10:00 PM is quiet time. This area has full time residents (great neighbors). Noise and partying are not allowed. Police enforced.
