The space Lovingly preserved, the prairie schoolhouse feels like a home away from home. It's a place where you can be yourself with your family and friends. The clean space and relaxed atmosphere will ease all your worries and afford you much time to enjoy. The large open yard, sheltered by trees, offers kids lots of room to run. Their imaginations will burst to life as they experience, maybe for the first time, life on the prairie. As you drive in off the main road, you will pass the apple trees. If in season, feel free to help yourself and remember Johnny Appleseed’s song, “The Lord’s been good to me; and so I thank the Lord. For giving me, the things I need; the sun and the rain and the appleseed. The Lord’s been good to me! Amen!” The country church was moved to it’s present home in 1988. It is open for tours upon request. An RV hookup is available for an extra charge. Other things to note The Cottage is no smoking inside. Pets are welcome. When outside they need to be on a leash or kenneled. Nearby heated outbuilding to kennel your dogs. Please message me before you book if you want pets to stay in the Cottage.
