The house is extremely private (located away from roads, on 60 private acres) yet it is simultaneously conveniently located (you can walk into Winthrop and several great restaurants) and easily launch on your Methow adventure of choice. ON THE SKI TRAIL! Location, location! From the SCR House walk across the brand new Spring Creek Pedestrian bridge into the town of Winthrop, Washington. Or step out your door onto 120 km of the country's finest groomed cross-country ski trails. Strap on your snow shoes and enjoy our private trails, or enjoy the serenity of 60 bucolic acres. The Ranch House was built in 1929 and has been lovingly restored with 4 Queen beds and 1 Twin, 2 complete bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and beautiful dining room table that seats 10. Bed configuration: Downstairs: 1 bedroom with 1 Queen bed Upstairs: 2 bedrooms, South side bedroom has 2 Queens, North side bedroom has 1 Queen with connected nursery room with 1 Twin bed. Quarter acre seasonal pond with NEW dock, creek side trails, hammock next to the river, feel like you're in the country then walk into Winthrop for fresh baked pastries and espresso! The Ranch House is located on the 60 acre Spring Creek Ranch. The neighborhood is filled with deer, turkey, raptors, salmon and our wild barn kitty. You have a tremendous amount of privacy at the Ranch House but you may also walk into town via the Spring Creek Pedestrian Bridge. You can walk from (the ranch house) porch to pastry (Rocking Horse Bakery) in about 10 minutes if you walk briskly or 15-20 if you stop to look at every beautiful and wild thing on the scenic walk (you will stop.)
