Perfectly located on a dead end road off of Moscow Rd cut through to the mountain. 2 miles from downtown Stowe (5 min drive/15 min bike ride) and 9 miles (15 min drive) from Stowe Mountain Resort. The space Enter the home to a renovated, bright farmhouse style kitchen. The center island lends itself to feeding friends and family before a day on the ski hill. There is a lot of light throughout the home, with an easy open floor plan flowing from the kitchen, dining, to living. The living room is anchored by a decorative mantel, a large and comfortable couch situated in front of a sizeable smart TV, and large windows looking out to the Worcesters and the hot tub out back. The newly finished stairs lead to the two upstairs bedrooms with queen beds and two full bathrooms. One bedroom is the master with access to the roof deck (perfect for watching the sunrise with a warm cup of coffee). The other upstairs bedroom has an ensuite bath. On the first level, guests find comfort and extra privacy in the third bedroom with a queen bed off the main entrance plus a new fourth bedroom with a queen bed in our very recently completely renovated sunroom. With six windows, this gorgeous new bedroom will get a lot of light in the morning. Two of the bedrooms provide desk set ups for working. All flowers in the photos were grown in the garden. We tend to the garden regularly and aim to plant and harvest different crops every year, including blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, herbs, tomatoes, grapes, etc. Guests are encouraged to sample the produce! Amazing, private location on Adams Mill Road provides access to two separate trail networks for mountain biking, hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. One trail head is just up the hill on Barnes Hill Road (about .75 miles) and the other is at the end of Adams Mill Road (about .5 miles), both easy walks or bike rides in our very quiet neighborhood. We are also just across the street from the Little River. Cute, convenient corner restaurant is a 3 minute walk away for Chinese food, coffee and other snacks as well as a market with beer, wine and ice cream. Guest access Access to full house apart from the basement and certain closets in the house that will remain locked. The second level of the upper deck is off limits to guests given the short railings. Other things to note The hot tub requires continual maintenance of the chemical levels. We supply testing strips and all of the required chemicals. If anything seems off with the water, we are happy to talk guests through using these products to perfect the hot tub conditions.
