Our year-round modern cabins blend elevated comforts with trailhead convenience, offering a cozy basecamp for exploring the Cuyuna area. Please read the details below to ensure this is the right fit for your stay, and to review our occupancy rules, age requirements, and pet policy. About Cuyuna Cove Created in 2020 by husband-and-wife team Kelsey and Chris, Cuyuna Cove is a small, family-run retreat nestled into 3 wooded acres on the edge of downtown Crosby. With the help of Kelsey’s dad, the couple designed and built everything from the ground up. Since then, they’ve hosted thousands of happy guests and been featured in: • Minnesota Monthly • Star Tribune • Lake & Company • Explore Minnesota • And more In 2024, they opened a second property, Tofte Trails, overlooking Lake Superior. Our 3-acre property includes: • Five year-round modern cabins on stilts • Five seasonal bungalows (2024) • Custom redwood sauna • Bike wash and secure bike lockers • Two small parking areas • String lights, a peaceful pond, and shared gathering spaces Local Touches & Sustainable Comfort We prioritize local craftsmanship and sustainability across the property. Your cabin includes: • Handmade mugs by Minnesota ceramicists • Locally crafted essential oil sprays • Cotton bedding, down duvets, and extra blankets • Organic coffee beans with French press and kettle • Curated art, board games, and thoughtful design details throughout Cabin Features Each of the four stilted cabins includes: • Queen bed with high-quality bedding • Unique access code • Full private bathroom with walk-in shower • Mini kitchenette with mini fridge, two-burner cooktop, French press, kettle, cookware, and dishes • Private patio with seating and gas grill • Heating and cooling for all-season comfort • Secure bike storage • WiFi and USB charging outlets • Filtered water refill station at the bike wash area • Access to our custom-built redwood sauna • Shared outdoor fire pits and picnic tables 👥 Occupancy & Children Policy • All accommodations are designed for 2 guests max • Children, including infants, are not typically a good fit due to: - Compact cabin layouts - No baby gear (cribs, changing tables, etc.) - Safety concerns (elevated decks, fire pits, shared spaces) • Exceptions may be made for 1 adult + 1 child over 8 or an infant — must be approved in advance • Extra guests without approval may result in cancellation • Please message us before booking if you have any questions — we're happy to help ensure the space is right for you! One designated space per cabin—no trailers allowed • The custom redwood sauna is available to all guests • Additional shared amenities include picnic tables and two outdoor fire pits near the pond • Filtered water refill station and bike wash area located at the trailhead entrance Other things to note 👥 Occupancy & Children Policy • All accommodations are designed for 2 guests max • Children, including infants, are not typically a good fit due to: - Compact cabin layouts - No baby gear (cribs, changing tables, etc.) - Safety concerns (elevated decks, fire pits, shared spaces) • Exceptions may be made for 1 adult + 1 child over 8 or an infant — must be approved in advance • Extra guests without approval may result in cancellation • Please message us before booking if you have any questions — we're happy to help ensure the space is right for you! • Pet stays must be pre-approved by adding your dog to your Airbnb reservation and the pet fee paid at booking • One parking space per reservation—there is no room for trailers or additional vehicles • This is a quiet, nature-forward property—no parties, outside visitors, or amplified music allowed • Firewood is available for purchase on-site • The redwood sauna is included with your stay. While almost always available, we do not offer refunds if it is unavailable due to cleaning or maintenance • Please review our cancellation policy before booking.
