Home in Truckee

Nestled in the heart of historic downtown Truckee, our home is a short walk to wonderful restaurants, the river, shops, and nightlife! Our home is a short drive to the best North Lake ski resorts, golf courses, hiking trails and beautiful Lake Tahoe. Couples, solo adventurers, families, and business travelers alike will love the ambiance and modern amenities of our home. Take advantage of our fully equipped kitchen, picturesque front porch, or just settle down in front of the fireplace. The space Our 1,100 sq. ft. Truckee home has recently had a top-to-bottom renovation. Every detail was considered to ensure that your time in the mountains will be relaxing and carefree. We have one large central living, dining, and kitchen area so you can socialize and relax easily with your friends and family. Cooking meals should be no problem in our well appointed gourmet kitchen and high-end appliances. Serving them should be no problem either as our table comfortably seats six adults. The living room features a large couch and a gas fireplace situated in front of a huge picture window overlooking downtown Truckee. Relax with a book or watch a movie on our 4K Samsung SmartTV. The TV is currently set up for YouTube TV, Apple TV+, Prime Video, Disney+ and Netflix and has direct connect ports for HDMI & USB. You will have access to log into other SmartTV applications with your account. The TV is also connected to a Sonos Beam sound system. This speaker is the prime audio output for the TV and can also play music from devices connected to the house Wifi network. We have outfitted our front porch with a large sofa and chairs to allow visitors to relax outside and view downtown Truckee, and nearby mountains. A perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee, or take-in Truckee's beautiful landscape. The bathroom features a full-size tub and shower and has a hair dryer available for use. Bedroom #1 has a queen size bed and built-in desk and dresser available for guest use. The built-in desk will allow you to get some work done if need be and the home is outfitted with a high bandwidth Wifi internet connection. There is also a scanner available for your use. Bedroom #2 has a new twin-over-full bunk bed, and has a pull-out twin trundle bed. This bedroom also has a built-in dresser for your belongings. There is a high efficiency washer and dryer on site if you need to do some laundry. We have been hard at work preparing our new home for guests and can not wait to share it with you. We would love you to come see our home for yourself! Guest access Guests have access to the entire property, with the exception of the third bedroom which will be locked. You will be given a six-digit code for the back door that is activated specifically for your stay. You will receive an automated email with your access code 24-hours prior to your arrival date. Other things to note We have added a Sonos Beam to connect with the our TV. Once connected to the in-home internet, the system can be used to play music in the living room or add some solid sound to the TV program of your choice. We also have a Nintendo Wii console for some inside active fun with friends and family.
