Entire Apt, Charming 1 bedroom in LES & Chinatown

** NEW MATTRESS REPLACED IN 2024. My lovely 1 bedroom apt is in the heart of downtown Manhattan, located in the edge of Chinatown and Lower East Side (LES). Park is in for the building. This area is super safe & convenient. Subway station is at the corner, less than 1 min walk. 5 min to Little Italy, and 7 mins to SoHo. The building is old and historical, but the aprtment room was renovated in 2019 with new kitchen appliances, bathroom, and wood flooring. The space My place is a spacious 1 bedroom apartment with a queen bed size that can fit two people, plus a comfy couch in the living room that can fit one. The apartment faces a park, which makes it quieter than a typical New York street. The lively living room has French doors to separate it from rest of the apartment. It has a spacious kitchen, full bathroom, and quiet bedroom. Perfect for vacation or remote work in NYC. Good restaurants and inexpensive eats are around the corner. I'm an interior architect so my place is really cozy and spacious for New York City Apartments. Within blocks, there are over 100 restaurants & bars. I counted another day when I have a long sunday walk, and I found that there are more than 50 galleries around the area. If you are an artsy person, you will really enjoy your time in the neighborhood. Note: for your stay- Please clean the dishes when you check out, I would appreciate it. No need to remove the sheet cover. We will take care of it. Guest access Entire apartment: living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom Other things to note There no elevator in this building but the apartment is located just on the 2nd floor. The B and D subway lines are at the corner of the block and can be seen the station entry from the living room. Opposite the living room is the park, green space. Very safe to sit and relax, play basketball or tennis (knock board). Laundromat is around the corner, I usually do drop off and pick up, save time and very affordable. There are two CitiBike docks within a block from the building. The garbage disposal area is in the back of the building, which is accessing via basement hallway. You have to walk to the basement level and heading to the back of the building. There are 3 trash cans - Trash, paper, and recycle. Please separate your garage. ( Tips: if it’s just small amount garbage, I usually throw to the garbage bin in the park in front of the building when I walk out to subway or grab coffee, it’s on the way and less walking distance) There is no curfew, as you will have your own key and can enter and leave the apartment freely. We do however ask that you would consider our neighbors by remaining quiet and respectful in the hallways when entering and exiting. Of course, be mindful of the walls when carrying luggage up the stairs, etc. Please treat everyone in the building with respect and kindness, whether it be a repairman, neighbor, or the landlord.
