Enjoy a piece of Muskoka in this beautiful waterfront cottage! This four bedroom home is only minutes away from historic downtown Huntsville, as well as many grocery stores and restaurants! Located on the Vernon Narrows, close to the mouth of Lake Vernon-Also, with boat access to Lakes Mary, Fairy and Peninsula, and a boat launch only a short ride away, it’s sure to impress! If you’re looking for a place to explore or just a spot to sit back and relax, we’ve got you covered! The space The main floor features big bright windows open to a view of the water and a sliding door to the large deck. There is a gas fireplace to keeps things cozy and Bell Fibe TV and wireless internet for rainy days! The open concept kitchen has two fridges and a generous island for all of your meal prep as well as a large dining table for family dinners. The master bedroom has an en-suite bath and walk in closet, the other two bedrooms and bathroom are separated from the main space by a pocket door if you want to keep things private. With bed options for every family member (Kings, Bunks and cribs) there’s sure to be enough space for everyone! The lower level is a walkout and also includes three more very spacious bedrooms, one bathroom, and the laundry room. There is another large living room connecting to a game area with a ping pong table, air hockey table and basketball game to enjoy and have some fun! Outside, the very large deck includes a natural gas bbq, gazebo and plenty of seating options to ensure there's enough space for everyone. The generous open grass area is great for playing games, as well as a small sand spot to keep the kids busy. The large fire pit for late night campfires will be a great place for everyone to gather for a few drinks or s’mores! The waterfront has a large dock able to accommodate most boats or just to take in the amazing views. There is a large gazebo for those who wish to escape the sun or just to cool off. There are also four adult kayaks, two child kayaks and two SUP's available to use that are sure to be a hit. Our cottage is only a few minutes drive away from the beautiful downtown Huntsville. Shopping centres, Deerhurst, Hidden Valley Ski Resort, Arrowhead provincial park and the many other local attractions that Huntsville has to offer are also only a short distance away. If you bring your boat, you can ride right into town and dock near many great restaurants and shops to have dinner, a drink or ice cream. Whichever way you decide to spend your time here in our cottage, we are certain you will leave with memories that will last a lifetime! ***Watercooler is provided-bring your own bottled water ****Please Note*** This is not a property to host parties. This is a family oriented property. Must be respectful of all neighbours at all times. Other things to note We are licensed for short term rental by the town of Huntsville. Please note we are obligated by our agreement to make you aware that the town of Huntsville may stop by at any time to see our license which is posted right outside the front door and to ensure you are following the maximum capacity of 10 overnight guests. Note***The water recedes from our dock in the fall. The dock goes in May and comes out in October-usually after Thanksgiving weekend. Outdoor furniture is also stored away at this time. Note***The basement can get very cold with the AC running and/or the fireplace on upstairs as the thermostat is in the living room.
