The space Our apartment is located in the historic House at the Golden Snake (Dům U Zlatého hada) at Karlova 18, one of Prague’s most enchanting streets in the heart of the Old Town. This beautifully preserved building dates back to the 14th century and stands proudly along the Royal Road — the traditional coronation route of Czech kings, connecting Old Town Square with Charles Bridge. The entrance to the building leads through a local shop, adding to the authentic Prague atmosphere. Staying here means immersing yourself in history, surrounded by centuries-old architecture, cozy cafés, and vibrant street life — all just steps away from Prague’s most iconic landmarks. Guest access You'll have full access to the entire apartment during your stay. Enjoy the privacy and comfort of having the entire space to yourself. Other things to note A baby cot and high chair are available upon request — please let us know in advance so we can prepare them for your arrival. Please note that the apartment is located in a historic building without an elevator, and it is situated on the first floor. The entrance to the building is through the shop on the ground floor, which is part of the authentic local charm of Karlova Street. New Year Holidays (29 December – 1 January): A minimum stay of 3 nights is required, and an extra person during this period is charged €50 per night.
