This is a 1800 sq. ft. two story house at the mouth of the Elk River on Sugar Creek. The house has two bedrooms, but also has a swing bed on the screened in porch. The screened in porch provides beautiful views of the water and the local wildlife. The house has a dock with two boat slips. There are also kayaks, paddles and life vests available, at no additional cost, for kayaking the creek. We also have another house next door that sleeps 5, if larger groups are visiting. The space The house is conveniently located one mile from the Sportsman Park convenience store. Athens and Rogersville are both located 13 miles from the property and provide shopping and entertainment. Guest access There are several kayaks, with paddles and life jackets, available for use at no additional charge. From April 15 until Sept. 5 the water is lowered by TVA for flood control. There is still enough water for kayaking, but boats can't use the dock. Other things to note This house has a queen and king bed We have another house next door that has beds for 5 people, if larger groups need to be accommodated.
