Enjoy stunning mountain views from the main deck or private second floor balcony. Breathe the refreshing mountain air. Inside the cabin you will find rustic tongue and groove wood interior and an extra long farmhouse dining table made from reclaimed barnwood. The many original features are perfectly blended with fresh updates and mid-modern century decor. Though it feels like you are miles away from the world, the cabin is just minutes from Mueller State Park, Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center and the Florissant Fossil Beds as well as Downtown Florissant, Divide and Woodland Park. LIVING ROOM The living room sports a comfy bench style couch, rustic log coffee table and modern accents. The TV has Roku so you can login to your accounts on apps like Hulu and Netflix, and we provide SlingTV as well. There is a Bose Soundlink Air speaker for casting from Airplay enabled devices. We provide an extra blanket for cozying up, a basket of children's toys and phone chargers you may use during your stay. The living room has floor to ceiling windows that take in the morning sun, and a slider through which a front deck area and the fenced in front yard is accessed. KITCHEN The kitchen is stocked for making some delicious meals during your stay. There is a coffee maker and we provide some cream, sugar, sugar free sweetener and tea. We also provide salt, pepper, pots, pans, utensils, fridge, electric range, oven, microwave, toaster, mixer and more! There is a grill on the main deck for outdoor cooking. DINING The dining area features a handcrafted farmhouse dining table made from reclaimed barnwood and has plenty of seating for your group. It shares open space with the living room so you can enjoy the floor to ceiling windows and feel a fresh breeze from the slider. The cabin has plates, bowls, mugs, cups and silverware. BEDROOMS Both bedrooms feature brand new, super comfy mattresses, high quality bedding and fresh linens for your comfort. There are small dressers and we provide some hangers for your clothes. The downstairs bedroom has a wall mounted TV with Roku so you can login to your accounts on apps like Hulu and Netflix, and we provide SlingTV as well. The upstairs bedroom has a private balcony with amazing views! This is the perfect place to sip your morning coffee and is my favorite spot on the property. BATHROOM The bathroom is campy and cute! It has a tub and shower and we provide fresh towels, spa quality shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, hand soap, cotton balls, cotton swabs, a hair dryer and a few extra rolls of toilet paper. KIDDOS (FAMILY FRIENDLY) We provide a pack n play, travel high chair and a basket of toys and books for your little ones to enjoy. There is also children's play equipment with slide in the front yard. OUTDOORS The cabin sports 3 separate deck areas. The front deck has a table and 2 chairs and is a great spot to sip your morning coffee while soaking in the morning sun. It overlooks the fenced in yard and kids play equipment. Beautiful mule deer will often jump the fence to lounge in the front yard! The main level deck has a grill, dining table and chairs and beautiful mountain views! There is also a private balcony off the upstairs bedroom with mountain views as well. There is a propane firepit in the yard with log stools for gathering around it. The cabin sits on 1.5 acres of private property which you can explore (at your own risk of course!). BUSINESS TRAVEL Keyless entry, fast WIFI, phone chargers and blue tooth speaker are perfect for those mixing business with travel. Guest access Guests will have exclusive access to the entire cabin, private driveway, fenced front yard, 3 deck areas and 1.5 acres of private property. Other things to note The cabin is open and accessible year round, but the last 3 miles are via dirt roads, so please make sure you are travelling in an appropriate vehicle, especially in the wintertime. The cabin water is provided via a cistern and it drains to a septic tank. Please be mindful to conserve water so you dont run out! We do ask guests to avoid long showers and avoid leaving water running. No food items, trash, or antibacterial solutions down any drains, thank you. Additional fees: We have put so much work into making your stay perfect, and we value the time we have between guests to prepare for future guests. Please note that there are minimal fees for guaranteed early check ins or late check outs to cover the expenses of reworking the schedule or adding an additional cleaner to the schedule to accommodate your request.
