McDonald Cove Cabin

Rustic cozy cabin. Open concept for easy entertaining with glorious views of the water. Main floor bedroom with Queen bed plus open loft with Queen bed. The cabin has one bathroom opposite the downstairs bedroom. Great outdoor living with two decks; front deck facing the waterfront. Use stairs to access the beach and boat house which houses two single kayaks, one double kayak, life jackets, and beach chairs for guest use. One exterior security camera, which monitors the driveway is present. The space Our cabin is ideally located in McDonald Cove on the Hood Canal, less than 5 minutes from the town of Brinnon. Experience outdoor adventures such as hiking in the Olympic National Park and Forest, kayaking and diving in the Canal, sightseeing and more. The Cabin itself includes kayaks for your use, a fully equipped kitchen (stocked with basic spices, utensils, a coffee pot, coffee, tea, an electric hot water kettle, a blender, and a microwave). On the front deck there is outdoor furniture and a BBQ. From there, enjoy frequent bald eagles, otters, and seal sightings. The space also includes 80 feet of private waterfront. Have a fire on the beach or a campfire in the fire pit out back. Adirondack chairs are housed in the boathouse. The Hood Canal is an especially unique place for dive enthusiasts - just swimming distance off our beach is a dive location with buoy. Take in the beauty around you from the Olympic Mountains to the incredible hood canal beaches. Guest access You will have the entire cabin and beach to yourself. Other things to note * boat and trailer parking available. * Must use stairs to access beach and steep stairs to access loft. * pellet stove in living room for ambiance and heat (pellets provided onsite) * two propane tanks provided. If additional propane is required, fill up at Brinnon General Store which is a 5 minute drive. * large variety of games and movies available for use!
