Come on up to Green Valley Lake! The lake is stocked with rainbow trout and bass, the weather is cool and we're surrounded by national forest full of beautiful hiking trails. Fun for all ages with a beach for the kids and a giant swan and yellow duck paddles boats to paddle around the lake (nominal fees). Bring your bicycles or go off-roading. Completely upgraded cabin in natural setting close to private lake, village and restaurant. You'll have so much fun you'll never want to go home! The space Our Little House borders on the San Bernardino National Forest. Completely upgraded with modern amenities yet retains its rustic 1940's charm. This is such a cute unique cabin, with an airy open space with living room and kitchen/dining area on the ground floor, and a spacious but warm and cozy bedroom upstairs. Guest access Guests have total access to the entire cabin. Other things to note We allow one (1) dog under 25 pounds with prior approval of size, type, and breed. No cats or any other animals are permitted at the cabin. If the guest should bring an animal without approval they will be asked to leave the cabin immediately without a refund. Maximum occupancy of 4 guests is strictly enforced per County regulations. Should the guest bring more guests than reserved or approved they will be asked to leave immediately without a refund. Make sure stove/oven, heaters, and lights are off. Close curtains and close and lock all the windows and doors. In the winter, instead of turning off the heater, please turn the heater down to prevent the pipes from freezing. Cleaning fee In order to keep the cleaning fee low, we ask that you please maintain tidiness within the home. This means: If you move furniture or decorations, please put them back to the positions that you found them; If you spill something, or make a mess, please clean it up and wash all your dishes. Should any extra cleaning be left behind an additional cleaning fee will be invoiced to you. Check out List To ensure a smooth checkout, please do the following: -Wash and put away all dishes and silverware -Remove sheets and pillowcases and leave them on top of the bed(s). -Leave dirty bath towels, hand towels, and kitchen towels in the shower in the bathroom. - Bag all trash and place the bag in the bin outside. - Double check for personal items in the freezer and refrigerator. -Double check for personal items under the beds and in the dresser drawers. SNOW PLAY For liability reasons, please do not sled on property. Please do not trespass on neighbor's property to sled or snow play. Here are 3 locations that permit sledding and snow playing: 1) Green Valley Lake Camp Ground. Drive to the dead end of Green Valley Lake Rd., and park in the turnabout. 2) The Old Ski Hill. From town, walk down Green Valley Lake Road towards the community garden, make a sharp left on Angeles Road. The Old Ski Hill is on your right. DO NOT park on Angeles or Falling Leaf as parking is prohibited. Park in town and walk to the ski hill. 3) San Bernardino Mountains Land Trust Property. This property is located between Green Valley Lake and Highway 18 across the street from Camp Pondo. Remember you are at 7,200' in elevation, so don’t overdo it at this altitude.
