Bright, clean, private cottage near Higgins Beach!

Nestled amongst the trees and located just 2 miles from beautiful Higgins Beach and just 5 miles to Portland, this recently renovated, sparkling clean, bright, private, stunning cottage is waiting just for you! Your private entrance is just steps away from your parked car. The cottage is 16 x 20 so it's super cozy! We live on the property (so we're here if you need us) but you are 100 feet from us, way out in the backyard. (It's private!) Our location is perfect for your Maine vacation! The space Our location is truly amazing! We are very lucky to live here and are excited to share a bit of our Maine way of life with our guests. We are at Higgins Beach nearly every day year round. (Parking and showers and restrooms are available.) Yet with so many beautiful beaches to visit, why limit yourselves to Higgins?! We love Old Orchard Beach, Scarborough Beach, Crescent Beach State Park, Ferry Beach, and so many more!!! The restaurants in Portland are now world-famous, with too many to list, you are sure to enjoy fine dining at its best!! If you want to explore more of Maine, day tripping is so much fun with so much to do, you'll want to stay another week! (We would be happy to make recommendations if you'd like.) The cottage is super cozy and perfect for two adults who are a couple. We also think it would be great for a small family with a young child. We can provide a twin aerobed also if need be. Just let us know what you need! The cottage design is modern, cozy and and fun with art everywhere! We created a space we'd like to hang out in; we hope you'll like it too! We have also provided a gas grill if you like to barbecue. The back yard is yours to enjoy! Guest access You will have access to the driveway, of course, which will lead you to your private cottage where you'll have plenty of room for gathering outside to bbq and just relax! It really is an oasis. The nearest dwelling (ours) is 100 feet away and the other homes are further. Everyone in our neighborhood has long back yards and the houses are close to the street so the area where the cottage is located is peaceful and quiet. (There are no other cottages back there!) It's quiet but please feel free to have fun and enjoy! Other things to note It is dark in the backyard at night. We have a motion sensor light to help guide you and recommend that you leave the lights on when you go out at night so you can easily find your way home! If you are arriving after dark, we will turn the lights on for you. (Before bed, if you could turn off the outside lights that would be appreciated by the neighbors and the wildlife. :)
