Waneta Get-Away lakeside bungalow

This quaint one-room bungalow is part of a lake front property on beautiful Waneta Lake. Easy access to the water with a private dock and beautiful sunset views. Kayaking, fishing, sunbathing and swimming are just steps away. Located near many wineries and breweries on Keuka and Seneca lakes. Great area for biking, hiking, antique shopping, exploring and relaxing! We are the perfect place for a long weekend or mid-week visit to disconnect and relax! The space Waneta Lake is a beautiful small lake in the Finger Lakes region of New York. Our bungalow is ready for you to visit and disconnect for a truly relaxing time. Enjoy your days relaxing in an Adirondack chair overlooking the lake with a glass of Finger Lakes wine! Our bungalow is one-room with a queen size bed and private bathroom with shower. Refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker are included in the space. We even provide a few K-cups to get your morning started! The bungalow does not have a kitchen so cooking is limited to an outdoor grill and the microwave. Not to worry…we can provide you with directions to some great restaurants in the area. Some of the best are only 15 minutes away! There is Wi-Fi, but no television. Our bungalow is for those who wish to escape and truly get away. There's a lovely porch and fire pit area with a beautiful view of the lake to sit and enjoy the quiet peace of lake life. If you must catch something on television, there is good WiFi speed for your iPad or laptop. The bungalow is located on the same property as our house. We respect your privacy while being readily available if you need anything. You are welcome to use our private dock and kayaks. We have life jackets for most sizes. Swimming in the lake is awesome! We highly recommend you bring water shoes to go in the lake due to the rocky bottom. As the water is shallow near the dock, there is no diving allowed. We are happy to give you directions and information on events, hiking, shopping, dining, and the other great attractions of the Finger Lakes. And, of course, we highly recommend the Finger Lakes wineries and breweries. Some of the very best are less than 15 minutes away! Guest access You will have access to the private bungalow and its porch as well as the outdoor areas including the fire pit area and our lake dock. There is a garage for bike storage or other storage needs. Private parking is in the driveway. There is an outdoor gas grill for your use. Basic utensils, dishes and flatware are provided. Please no fireworks on the property! And, absolutely no smoking or vaping. We will provide firewood for outdoor campfires in the fire pit. We may restrict this from time-to-time due to dry conditions. Other things to note We have a notebook inside the bungalow with local recommendations for food, wineries, shopping, rainy day activities, etc.
