Get a relaxing soak in the hot tub . Located 30-45 min from Mt. Rainier- The Rivers Chalet is the best in its class for amenities in the area. If you have an additional small one or two and it goes over the 6 person limit. there is an extra "Harry Potter" spot in a closet with a mattress, bed sheets and pillows. The space The Rivers Chalet offers a well outfitted kitchen. Show off your cooking talents. Enjoy the ambiance, oak floors, eclectic furniture (vintage mid century, rustic, antique, modern comfort...). Two gas fireplaces, heat pump with cooling and other heat sources to keep your stay cozy. Take advantage of the music room featuring a 1939 baby grand, percussion instruments to bang and strings to plunk. Have a family movie night by accessing Netflix on the Amazon Firestick and cozying in to the big soft sofas. Read a book from our book shelf collection. Also, many fun games available. The back yard has over 1200 square feet of porch area to lounge about including a top of the line Jacuzzi hot tub (Hot tub is shared with the Rivers Cottage). BBQ is propane grill. Create something unique in the separate Art Studio- river rocks are fun to paint! Bring your briefcase and work away- the wifi works great. Take a stroll on the trails out back and walk all day if you want in the beautiful Tatoosh Wilderness. Take your cup of coffee across the street to the River Access Trail and breathe in the beauty. Head up to White Pass in the winter to get a great day of skiing in. Head up to Mt. Rainier and fill your heart with wonder over one of the most beautiful places in the Nation. 35 minutes from White Pass Ski area and a half an hour from the Mt. Rainier Stevens Canyon Entrance. Guest access Guests have all access to the Chalet, patios and yard with exception to a couple of locked doors that are specific to supplies. Plenty of parking in the curved driveway. The back cottage is not part of the access unless additionally booked. There are no stairs to the ground level. Other things to note There is currently no bathtub in the Rivers Chalet. There is a shower.
