Mel-Ohana is a quiet, private two bedroom, 1 bath upstairs unit with comfortable queen memory foam mattresses, kitchen amenities, and a beautiful large bathroom with tiled shower. Open, bright and airy, the country views are spectacular from both bedrooms. It's the perfectly-placed retreat, with Jacksonville/Britt 5 mins away, Ashland -25 mins., and 12 mins. from Medford shopping and restaurants. Wander the 1/2 acre lawn and garden area or share a bottle of wine on the ground-level cedar deck! The space Provisions: Keurig coffee maker/tea kettle/Breville convection oven/blender/microwave oven/apartment size fridge with separate freezer space/2-burner induction cook top/food preparation utensils and spices/plates, glasses, cups, wine glasses, utensils and paper towels. Dish-washing supplies and drying rack/cleaning supplies under the sink, and broom and vacuum are in the living room closet. Bottled water, k-cup coffee, teas, sugar, creamers, cooking oil/spray, hot pads, BBQ utensils and some storage containers provided. Round dining table seats up to 4 with both leaves up. Extra chairs are in bedrooms. Outside deck seating for four with tables. Roll up privacy shade provided at East end of deck. Gas BBQ next to deck. Beautiful and spacious two-head tiled shower. Shampoo, conditioner and liquid body wash provided. Both bedrooms have locking doors, closets, and room for storage in drawers under the beds. Extra bedding (comforters and sheets) is also provided in the drawers. Bedding for the sofa is provided in the oak blanket box in the living room. Top-down/bottom-up shades plus 'blackout' Roman shades on larger bedroom windows. scrolling shades are provided for the long upper windows. All LED light fixtures. Most can be dimmed. (Sorry, no pets.) Guest access Parking area for one vehicle next to building. Additional parking for one vehicle is available at the bottom of the driveway on the flat area near the trailer. Contact the host if parking for a trailer is needed. 1/2 acre fenced grounds at rear of the property, including gardens, native plants and lawn. Pathways throughout. One acre open grass field in front with fruit trees, raised garden beds and grape vines. . We get the occasional deer, wild turkeys, squirrels, and over 50 bird varieties. Canada geese are often seen (and heard) in the grass fields across the valley. A walk down the private road takes you past pastures, rural homes and wooded areas. Other things to note No pets allowed. We love dogs! We previously owned two older labs. Unfortunately, after quite a few negative interactions with dog owners not following our guidelines and their pets being allowed on furniture, on beds, and causing damage, we have to now disallow all pets.
