Beautifully furnished and freshly renovated, this cozy waterfront cottage has all the comforts of home. Enjoy magnificent views of Onancock Creek along with the serenity for which the Eastern Shore is famous. The space Circa 1950, the cottage has one bedroom with a large walk-in closet, so plenty of room for clothing and other items. The kitchen is small (low ceiling - only 6'2 so don't bump your head!) but adequate for making simple meals - stovetop, oven, microwave. Very comfortable living room with small sofa (not for sleeping), chair, and small desk. Dining room has a small pub table. Guest access Located in Mt. Prospect, one of the most charming and scenic areas in the Historic Town of Onancock, and within walking distance of locally owned shops, galleries, upscale restaurants, theaters, local pubs, and the famous Corner Bakery – experience Small Town America at its finest! Other things to note There are kayaks and life jackets available for your enjoyment and you may launch right from the waters edge. The wildlife is amazing and just a short paddle out you can catch some of the greatest sunsets on the Southern Branch of Onancock Creek – just off the Chesapeake Bay. Quiet time - 11:00 pm to 7:00 am please.
