Peaceful Creekside Retreat!

Welcome to your creekside cabin getaway tucked away in a beautiful valley. This house has 2.5 acres hardwood forest located on a trout creek in Upper Delaware. We love our place for star-gazing all year long and fireflies in early summer in complete solitude. The area is perfect for all kinds of outdoor activities and also offers plentiful organic farm stands in growing season. The cabin is good for a couple, solo adventurers, or a small family (kids who can sleep in bunkbeds) The space If you have a larger group reach out to us about making a synced reservation at our friends' adjacent awesome tiny house (sleeps 4 with a glamping pod tent). Our house was built in 1920 and newly renovated by us in 2020! We did everything from wood panelling our “board room” to laying the flooring. The space is open plan, 1,000 sq ft, lofted, private one bedroom with two baths. The living room easily turns into a private bedroom with a large sliding barn door. The bedroom includes a crib for a baby or small toddler. The front porch is great for coffee and tea on a rainy day or enjoy the picturesque back deck which overlooks the full time creek (always flowing)! NOTE: pardon our appearance: we are still in the process of finishing painting front porch and renovating the upstairs bathrooms but they are fully functional and clean. Theres hi speed wifi (Starlink) installed and the cabin is equipped for you to work from home although we still recommend to disconnect and unplug when not working :) New for 2025: There’s a brand new, cozy two person wood fired hot tub on site. To use the hot tub, you fill it with water from our hose then start a fire in the solo stove and its hot within 2 to 3 hours. Hot tub usage is weather/temperature dependent. April through November is the best time of year for it. Free firewood is included! Guest access Guest have access to all spaces other than the upstairs closet and shed which is locked with our personal stuff. Other things to note Things you should pack for your stay: • Slippers or flip flops • River sandals • Floaties • Sun hat • Bugspray • Sunscreen • Travel cooler (for a river trip) • River/beach towels • Fishing gear • Binoculars (for bird watching) • Your fave book This is a NO SMOKING house. If guests smoke inside the house they will be charged a fine of up to $500
