Mohawk Cabin

Mohawk Cabin sleeps 4 adults, with a loft for children, includes a fire ring and picnic table. Camping at this cabin is "primitive"... no water, electricity, mattresses, bedding, or bath facilities. A privy is available in this camping area. Potable water, flush toilets, and showers are available on the other side of the lake. The Mohawk Cabin has a dock and swimming area that is shared with campers in that area. Lake Heron is a hidden paradise with 240 acres of woodland and a 10-acre lake. The space Lake Heron Retreat is in Liverpool, Perry County, Pennsylvania. Liverpool is a small town, but has convenient highway access 30 minutes from Selinsgrove, where there are many stores and restaurants. From Lake Heron Retreat, you are nearby multiple historic covered bridges, just down the road from the annual apple-butter boil, and so much more. Guest access All campers may utilize the 'comfort station' with toilets and coin-operated showers located at the RV campsite area. All campers may access the 10-acre lake, shared swim platforms, and 240 acres of woodland and hiking trails. Please do not disturb campers in other areas. There is a pavilion near the dam, and RV campsites on the other side of the lake. Other things to note There is no formal check-in or check-out process. You may go directly to your campsite. You must supply your own tent on the tent campsites (or RV sites if you want water/electric). A limited supply of rowboats, canoes, and kayaks are available to rent, and MUST be reserved. You may bring your own boat (kayak, rowboat, canoe... no engines), and there is a launch-fee that should be prepaid.
