Ponderosa Bunkhouse at Wapiti Meadow Ranch

Nestled in the towering pines of the Wapiti Meadow Ranch, a horse ranch in the Rockies of Colorado, the Bunkhouse is secluded and private. This is a completely remodeled studio apartment with a queen bed for comfort and a full-sized kitchen for function. Charming touches inside add to the rustic feel of the wood ceiling and log beam running throughout. The Bunkhouse provides all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay while keeping things simple and affordable. STR Permit 027548 The space For an additional fee, this is a pet-friendly space. There is also plenty of space for guests to park a small trailer (bring your ATV or off-road vehicle). Relax, unhook, unwind....no city lights to obstruct your spectacular sky view underneath the towering pines which cast their shadows on the Bunkhouse. Guest access Guests have access to their own Bunkhouse (there are two side-by-side apartments separated by a privacy fence, (please be respectful for the long-term guests next door), a private patio, and the 70 acres which encompass the Ranch. The house manual does have the property boundaries and guests are asked to not venture beyond the property. Other things to note This is a dog-friendly property. There is an additional $50 fee for one dog only (no cats!), which will be requested from the guest once the reservation is confirmed by Air BnB and paid in full. Guests are expected to adhere to all pet guidelines such as no pets off-leash, cleaning up your pet's waste, do not leave your pet unattended or alone in the bunkhouse, and do not allow pets on the bed. Please be respectful of the owner's pet requirements so that we can continue to offer one of the few pet-friendly vacation rentals. Events such as weddings and loud gatherings are specifically prohibited by Chaffee County. Each unit sleeps a maximum of 2 guests with a shared inside wall. We have long-term guests in the other unit so please respect the neighbors and the neighborhood. Quiet time is 10 p.m. until 8 a.m.
