This spacious farmhouse is for the entire two story farmhouse featuring 3 bedrooms that all have new memory foam super comfortable mattresses and linens. The master bedroom has a small sitting area and an en suite with a walk-in shower. A BONUS FEATURE in the master bedroom is a 2 person cedar infrared sauna that has bluetooth speakers for connecting to your device for listening to music, podcasts, or movies. The sauna also features interior mood lighting. There are two other queen bedrooms, one on each floor of the house. Each bedroom has a closet space and we provide 4 pillows per bed to help you be extra comfortable. Each level of the house has a full bathroom with a shower/tub and we supply all bathrooms with crisp linens, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. A full kitchen upstairs includes a stove, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, basic cookware and dishes. There’s a wet bar/kitchenette in the lower level with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, toaster oven and basic dishware. Coffee, creamer, hot cocoa, microwave popcorn and basic spices are provided for your convenience as we are 15 minutes away from any store. A laundry room with a washer and dryer is available on the lower level. A living room is on both levels of the farmhouse, so if the kids are watching a movie the others can enjoy conversations upstairs. A smart TV is in both living rooms for watching Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, etc. No TVs are in any of the bedrooms, only the living rooms on each floor. Our outdoor space includes picnic tables, rocking gliders, space for hanging your hammock, a campfire area, upper and lower patios, and areas to walkabout the farm property. An electric pellet grill is available on an outside upper patio behind the garage. The night skies provide beautiful star gazing. Request to tag along during a chore run or simply enjoy a walk around the farm and explore our gardens or visit the animals in their pastoral settings. We are committed to ecological practices on the farm and in our farmhouse. We recycle and compost and encourage our guests to do the same. A solar array powers the whole farm and we offer an EV charger. The home is ran on geothermal heating/cooling and a gas fireplace in the entryway provides additional cozy heat as needed. Farmers, family, and/or Suncrest Gardens employees or pizza night guests may be outside depending on the day or time. A farm manager lives on the property in a different dwelling. Suncrest Gardens is a working farm year round and has an on-farm restaurant open to the public May-September. Please note that we have a gravel driveway. Both the upper and lower story of the farmhouse are included in this rental. This is the most private way to rent the farmhouse as you are not hearing any potential noise or smelling any cooking from other potential guests on a different level of the farmhouse. If you need assistance during your stay, the assistant farm manager does live on site. Otherwise the owner is often on site during the day working on the farm or is available via text and typically responds quickly. We do have high speed internet so WiFi calling is an option to stay connected. We are located six miles off the Great River Road near the Mississippi River valley. Kayaking, canoeing, fishing, snowmobiling (trails located just a mile down the valley), skiing, bird watching, hiking, and biking are local options for the outdoor enthusiast. A variety of small shops are fun to explore in the small river towns and hidden treasures are tucked away in our countryside providing reasons to explore our hills. We are located in a rural farm area. Having a car in necessary to travel between destinations. Many destinations will have a 30-60 minute drive. Winona is a 30 minute drive; LaCrosse is a 60 minute drive, the Twin Cities is a 2 hour drive. Foods from the farm may be purchased ahead of time and we are happy to have your order ready for your stay. We send out an order form the week prior to your visit with current farm good offerings. From May-September, we are open to the public on Friday and Saturday evenings featuring our wood-fired pizzas, farm-to-table seasonal sides, local wine, craft beer and more. Live music may be scheduled to play in the yard across from the farmhouse which ends by 9pm. In October, we often host private events on Saturdays in the barn/yard. The benefit to you is that the wood-fired pizza oven would be hot so you could order pizzas. Occasionally, other special private events may be hosted in the barn and yard. All events are family oriented and are usually quiet by 9pm. The outdoor yard is a shared space with guests dining at the farm.
