Our location: We are not a remote destination...we are strategically located at the edge of town (Crosby, MN) with DIRECT ACCESS to the nationally ranked Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area (bike in, bike out & minutes to mine lakes) along with the paved trail. When the leaves fall you will be able to see homes in the distance. Our property is 3 wooded acres off of hwy 6 for incredible access to Historic Main Street Crosby and endless adventures. We finished building our beautiful redwood sauna with a Huum stove and it is included in your stay. We installed tablets in each cabin so you can now pre-heat it from the warmth of your cozy cabin. There are no set times for us. Please remember there is a possibility it will be down for occasional repairs. Be kind and understanding. We do not give refunds if the sauna is closed for a repair. Please let us know if you would like to bring ONE well behaved dog (no exception for 2 dogs) . If you book with us on Airbnb, you will need to add your dog to the reservation when you book (the same way you add how many guests will be joining you). Our pet fee is an additional charge and you are required to read over our pet policy/rules. You will be charged $250 plus the nightly pet rate if your dog is NOT on your reservation upon arrival and for any damages caused by your pet. The cabin will be fully equipped with everything you'll need and more for an incredible red dirt adventure. The comfortable queen bed (get the best night's rest on our luxury Tuft & Needle mattress), has views of the forest through the floor to ceiling glass and sleeps 2 adults. The cabins are equipped with high speed WiFi, a rough sawn wood table, floor to ceiling glass views from bed, coffee and everything you need to escape during the weekdays if you need to still work a little during your stay with us. There is also Red Raven Coffee shop about a block up the road from us. Enjoy relaxing, slowing down and simply being in nature during your stay. Turn off the lights and take a hot shower with views of the Northern stars. Pour a glass of wine and read a book, make a bonfire or play board games. The sauna is yours to enjoy during your stay and we recommend using it after a day of outdoor adventures in Cuyuna State Recreation Area. Choose from mountain biking for all levels and ages, paddling, kayaking, hiking, snowshoeing, fat tire biking, cross country skiing, exploring Main Street and more! You can easily rent any of the above gear from Red Raven, Cykel or Cuyuna Outfitters just a block up the road from us! Store your bikes/snow gear in your own private bike locker at your cabin. Your kitchenette will be stocked with the basics: Outdoor gas grill with grilling utensils, a pot and pan with a 2 burner stove, mini fridge, microwave, toaster, plates, cups, mugs, wine glasses, french press, coffee beans, a bean grinder, hot water kettle, and more. Please note it is only a kitchenette (not a full kitchen). A table and 2 chairs for relaxing, playing games, reading is located inside and next to the glass wall for great views along with strong WiFi and several USB plug in locations for your computer. Lounge on your private patio overlooking the pond with its own grill to cook up some hot dogs, veggie kababs, corn on the cob or steak and burgers.. Mix drinks in your kitchen and relax all day or throw on your bike or swim gear and hit the trails and mine lakes. Why Cuyuna, MN? Where is Cuyuna Cove Located? Cuyuna Cove was strategically built within the city of Crosby, MN on 3 wooded acres. An easy 2 hour drive North of Minneapolis on 169 and you’ll find us located off Hwy 6 across from Portsmouth Mine Lake. Our location provides seamless access to Cuyuna State Recreation Area bike trails (we’re next to Yawkey), mine lakes and Historic Main Street. What types of Adventures are in Cuyuna? Mountain bike over 60 miles of world-class, red dirt trails right from your doorstep. Paddle/canoe/kayak/snorkel/scuba any of the 15 pristine mine lakes or get wonderfully lost in over 5,000 acres of wilderness. Afterwards, indulge yourself at the local brewery, coffee shops, restaurants, craft cocktail bar and shopping all located just blocks away. After an incredible day of outdoor adventures, retreat to Cuyuna Cove for a bonfire and evening of relaxation. Parking is a breeze! Pull in and park in your designated parking space. The cabins are a short walk from the parking lot (only about 50ft). There is ONE parking space per reservation. There is not room for trailers. We are easy to get ahold of, just message us on Airbnb and we'll get back to you quickly! We are next to Oars N Mine bait shop and directly next to Cuyuna State Recreation Area (Yawkey Unit). Bike in, Bike out directly from your cabin! We're across the road from Portsmouth Mine lake and walking/biking distance to Yawkey Mine Lake and Historic Main Street Crosby where you can eat, drink, shop and play! Bike Storage: Yes, we have safe storage for your bikes! your cabin comes with a private bike locker and lock/key found in your cabin when you arrive. PET RULES: We do allow 1 smaller dog to come along with you (under 50lbs). They must be on the reservation and there is an additional fee. There will be a charge of $250 if the pet is NOT on your reservation and paid for prior to arrival. Dogs are NOT allowed on the beds (so bring their favorite dog bed with) and MUST be well behaved and under 50 pounds. If your dog is over that weight limit, please message us for a case by case basis. You will also be charged for ANY pet damages including but not limited to: chewing, scratching the doors, glass, etc. Your pet MUST be crated if left alone in the cabin. Please do not bring your dog if they are prone to barking. Cabins and patios are close to other guests and possibly other dogs. You will be asked to leave without a refund if your dog is disturbing other guests. Please bring a towel for their feet for when they come back in the cabins. There will be a pick up station for you to use to pick up after your dog. Your dog must be on a 6ft leash while on the property at all times. We appreciate your understanding and willingness to only bring your dog if you can abide by the pet rules. Redwood Sauna at Cuyuna Cove: -We are happy to include our sauna with your stay, there is no additional charge. -Enjoy the mental, physical and emotional health benefits year round -There is now a tablet in your cabin so you can start the sauna from the warmth of your cabin. -The sauna is equipped with a gorgeous and powerful Huum stove. -There are no reservations for private use. -Our sauna is self-use and self-clean which allows for a hassle-free sauna experience during your stay. As a guest, you are responsible for following the rules, turning the stove on, cleaning up after yourself (eucalyptus and cleaning supplies provided), turning the stove off and of course leaving it clean and ready for the next guests to enjoy. We do daily checks to ensure cleanliness and provide 1-2 small sauna towels per guest. -All of the sauna instructions will be in your cabin and sauna when you arrive. -The information will include: how to access the sauna/safety/how to use/and how to sanitize.
