Taylorsville Lake puts you in the "goldilocks spot" - just the right distance from everywhere. Whether you want to get away from it all or have an itinerary with stops on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, tours of nearby horse farms, or bets at Churchill Downs, our bungalow is miles from everywhere yet close to everything. Nearby Taylorsville has most conveniences and amenities, including a grocery, pharmacy, Wine & Spirit shops, Ace Hardware and several chain and local eateries. A 5-minute drive will have you seeing green at the Tanglewood Golf Course (18 holes, par 72). As you drive in, keep an eye out for wild deer, turkeys and summertime fireflies. At the end of your day, bubble away in the hot tub on the private deck while listening to the breeze in the trees and the occasional splashy flop of a big fish that got away in the lake.
