Blue Paddle Lake House. Easy access to great beach

The Blue Paddle Lake House was originally built in the 1950s so it has loads of charm and a cozy quaintness. This renovated cottage is nestled on a large lot with space for the kids to run and play or for you to sit and catch some sun. A short distance from the beach (no stairs to go up or down) and all that the town of Grand Bend has to offer. Lots of parking. Fast wifi The space During the summer we rent by the week only - Saturday to Saturday. Property is really nice in spring and fall seasons, and is then available for weekend stays (2 night minimum) The space Our cottage has an open concept family room/kitchen, a front sun room, and 3 cozy bedrooms that can accommodate 6 guests with 2 queen-sized and 1 double bed. There is room for 2 additional guests since the main room has a stackable bed (or day bed) that can act as a single or 2 singles when unstacked (so really the cottage can sleep 8 people). We provide, sheets, pillows and pillow cases, and a comforter for all beds. We also include bath towels. There is one 3-piece washroom with shower and an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand after a long day at the beach. This cottage comes with a half bath in an out-building - always a handy thing with a large group! The Blue Paddle Lake House has great outdoor spaces for the family to enjoy including a treed lot, a fire pit with lots of seating and firewood, outdoor deck and porch, and an outdoor eating area. Guest may access the entire cottage. Other things to note: To assist you with your beach adventure we have on site a beach wagon, 5 beach chairs and a small cooler that you can use. The side door leading into the kitchen is not a standard height. A person over 6 feet will need to be cautious when coming through this door. The front door is a standard height. Since this cottage is close to the conservation and river there is wild life in the area and on the property. Our heat sources are an electric fireplace in the main room and base board heaters. Our neighborhood is made up primarily of family cottages and year round homes; therefore, renting to families and mature adults is a priority for us to ensure the best fit for both our guests and neighbors. We do not rent to groups under 25 years old nor do we permit parties due to the local noise by-laws. Guest access Guests may access the entire cottage.
