Welcome to Castel, our large and warm chalet by Lac Saint-François. ♥ With more than 2,500 p² of living space, our cottage can accommodate your family holiday. Pool ✶ table The space *CAPACITY* *The chalet can accommodate up to 10 adults and 3 children* ♦ Our expansive chalet on Lake St-François offers a magnificent view of the 4 seasons. Located less than 60 minutes from Montreal, this is the perfect place to spend memorable moments with families and friends. ♦ The chalet offers 6 private rooms. One bedroom offers a full private “In-Suite” bathroom. The second and third bathrooms are strategically positioned on the ground floor and the basement. The bedrooms offer different sizes of beds with different mattress and pillow closures for all tastes. ♦ The kitchen includes all the amenities so you can cook at home. All the necessary equipment is provided in order to prepare you a delicious meal. ♦ Also the basic amenities in the bathroom will be at your disposal (soap, shampoo and bath towels). Spare pillows and linens are provided to make you feel great! ♦ Our large living room with sectional sofa is lined with a wood fireplace and a built-in Roku TV, so you can connect to your Netflix or other account. The adjacent dining room offers panoramic views of Lac Saint-François, so you can have dinner watching the sunset. ♦ The terrace is equipped with chairs and a picnic table to sit several, as well as a BBQ with propane. ♦ The court offers outdoor games for summer (badminton, volleyball, soccer), as well as a single kayak and double kayak. Boats are not available during the winter season from October 15 to May 1. Plus, take advantage of the fire area in summer to grill marshmallows! ♦ The access to the water is quite deep, there is a dock on the lake with a ladder to get in and out of the water with ease. Guest access ♦ You will have exclusive access to the interior and exterior spaces of the property, with the exception of the garage and a storage cupboard in the basement. Other things to note 1) We do not recommend drinking tap water. You should therefore buy drinking water before your stay. There is a second refrigerator in the basement where you can store your water, as well as an 18.9 L water dispenser for which you can bring a water bottle. 2) You must buy your firewood if you wish to use the outdoor fire space or the indoor fireplace. You'll receive a guest guide with addresses where you can get it. In winter: It's your responsibility to clear the access to the outdoor fireplace 3) BBQ - Due to the cold weather during the winter months, our BBQ will be temporarily unavailable between November and April. 4) In one of the bedrooms, a slight pump noise can be heard when water is needed. If you are a light sleeper and stay in this room, we recommend that you bring earplugs to reduce this noise.
