Adorable Historic Townhouse

A charming, well-equipped historic home in the heart of the city. Beautiful 3 floor trinity, simply renovated to host up to 4 guests. Efficient eat-in kitchen leads out to a quiet, secluded backyard. Comfortable beds with new bedding. Sunny 2nd floor deck. Spacious, well-lit full bathroom. We are currently looking for longterm guests. We are happy to accommodate students, scholars, business travelers etc. who are looking for a comfortable space to settle in for the semester, or a few months! The space We’re just steps away from theatres, museums, Rittenhouse Square, the historic section of Philly, great eateries, the Italian Market, and all of the universities and major hospitals. Scholars will appreciate proximity to the Library Company, the American Philosophical Society, and the Historical Society of Pennsylvania. Public transit is close by and recommended for use. Please note, we DO NOT have parking available, and laundry access is reserved for long-term guests. Guest access You can be independent with our easy-to-use automatic locking system. Detailed information on our Smartlock is available upon trip confirmation. We're on a safe, virtually traffic-free street in a neighborhood of musicians, artists, professionals and families. During your visit, you can stay in and have a home cooked meal in the lovely, fully-furnished kitchen, order in or head out for a night on the town, with the resources that we have collected in our Welcome Notebook. Then, sleep soundly in our comfy queen bed. Or, get your work done in our large sitting room with desk and outlets. Please, NO PARTIES! Other things to note Please note: Bathroom is located on the 2nd floor, only accessible by stairs. The staircases in our home are steep, and a bit narrow. All are equipped with railings for support. We offer in house laundry access for long-term guests (14 or more nights) only. Short-term guests (2-13 nights) are able to access nearby laundromats in the neighborhood, although most do fine without.
