The space Kearsarge Cottage is a 1920's farm house that underwent remodeling and renovations to provide the perfect combination of classic styling and modern comforts for your stay in this quaint town. The exterior of the home features a marvelous wraparound farmer's porch that adds to its charming ambiance. The interior is tastefully appointed with comfortable furnishings, soothing decor, and all the amenities necessary to keep you at ease, such as laundry room and wireless internet access. Spend your mornings on the sizable porch and sip a warm cup of coffee in the rocking chairs or bistro table as your senses take in the beautiful sights and sounds of the area. Return home from a day of adventure and spend the afternoon unwinding indoors or enjoy a cool breeze in the yard, fire up the charcoal or gas grills, play some corn hole or start a fire in the backyard fire pit. You'll love the full kitchen, garnished with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances that help even the most modest cooks feel like gourmet chefs. The attractive breakfast bar allows for conversation and quality time with your loved ones even while you're preparing a culinary work of art. The original home is 3 BR, 2 BA and lots of space to accommodate up to 8 people. The new addition will be locked off and empty. Driveway can accommodate 5 cars, 1 block from the center of the village and an easy walk to town (restaurants, shops, bars, play ground, scenic railroad, etc.), Whitaker Woods, Cranmore, and hiking trails. Other things to note No smoking, no parties, no drugs and no illegal activity. The town just adopted a noise ordinance with a $1000 fine. We have permanent resident neighbors on 3 sides, so we ask that you respect our neighbors and keep noise down, especially after 10 pm and when using the fire pit. Well behaved dogs are welcome for a supplemental cleaning fee of $50 per stay. No dogs that sleep in the beds unless you bring your own blankets because it is hard to get the hair out of blankets. This posting is set up to charge an addition fee after the first 2 guests so smaller groups have an affordable option, please be accurate on the number of guests when booking.
