The building located on 1140 Franklin Ave is a lovely home built in 1900 by ship builder Ferdinand Fisher and was established as a bed and breakfast in May of 1986. Astoria is such a historic town and every building has incredible architecture, history and a story. Every restoration seems to respect the era of the original structure and this reflects the beliefs of the town and its people and their commitment to Astoria’s history. I am in love with this town and hope you will too. The guesthouse has 6 rooms and each of them has an attached bathroom. Guests will enjoy the uniqueness of each room and share its warm and cozy sun-lit living room with other guests. This room is conveniently located on the main floor. Walk around the neighborhood gazing at immaculate restorations that respect the original era, reflecting the beliefs of this town, its people and their commitment to Astoria’s history. Near the pier is located conveniently so you can walk to most places. Astoria is relatively flat, it is perfect to ride your bike, it will even get you to amazing places without car. On the street parking is available along the house.
