In 1976 Browne's Addition was placed on the National Register of Historic Places as a registered Historic District. It's a great place to explore various architectural styles with many mansions. For decades this neighborhood was an enclave for the city's elite residents and if you roam the streets you'll see mansions with plaques outside explaining who built and lived in the houses. Now, many of these mansions have been turned into apartments so we have a wonderfully eclectic mix of residents. We're just one block from the gorgeous Couer d'Alene Park which has been a great place for Spokanite's to gather for over 120 years. We're also within 10 minutes walk of beautiful river views downtown and 1 to 2 blocks away from several restaurants, bars and cafes. We are incredibly close to downtown. If you walk at an average pace you can be at the heart of downtown within 20 minutes. We have a bus stop 2 houses down, which takes you straight to downtown within 10 minutes as well, and comes frequently. ⍟ Parking - Guests may use the driveway for loading and unloading; please park on the street when finished. The owners park in the driveway. ⍟ Security - Our house is equipped with Ring security cameras for the front and back doors and motion detection lights for the safety of our guests. The house is fully enclosed with fencing and the driveway gate is closed each night. ⍟ Noise - No parties are allowed on the premises. Please keep noise to a minimum from 10pm and 7am. Railroad tracks are located nearby, and trains operate on a regular schedule. They rarely sound their whistles, but ear plugs are encouraged for a light sleeper.
