The Waterstone Cottage is the guest house of the historic Waterstone Inn on the east shore of Greenwood Lake. You'll have your own 2 bedroom bungalow, which was just completely renovated. In addition to a private deck with an outdoor dining area, fire table and gas grill you'll have full access to the Inn's waterfront lounge areas, kayaks, canoes and paddle boat. Sterling Forest trails run along the east shore of the lake (where we are) and the Appalachian Trail runs along the west shore. In neighboring Warwick you'll find over 7 wineries/distilleries and craft breweries along side farm markets, restaurants and the area's only drive-in movie theater. If you'd like to explore the area, probably best to have a car, but we're walking distance to a NJ transit stop so the bus (196 from Port Authority) can get you here from NYC.
