STRL-2022-00446 We spent four years renovating our home and included eclectic decor from various films my husband John worked on. The rooms are painted dark and moody, the kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal including a retro Sub Zero fridge and gas cooktop, pour over, French press. The back-splash is a paisley glass mosaic from Bisazza Italy, and the cabinets are lighted inside. The home has original wood floors. There is an additional room with a small stand-up fold down desk good for a laptop, couch and TV. Large French doors in the kitchen lead out to our zen garden with lounge furniture and fountain. I love all the birds, how quiet it is, the Beltline pathway, and how close we are to downtown, midtown and HWY 20. Our street is multicultural consisting of mostly families, new home owners, and retired seniors who grew up here. Mozley Park is a historical neighborhood only 1.5 miles from the heart of downtown ATL and it’s many attractions, Cent Olympic Park, Georgia Aquarium, GWCC, CNN, NCCHR, Coca-Cola Museum, Mercedes Benz Stadium, and more. We are a "Beltline Neighborhood" that has become quite a hot spot. A five minute walk North on the Beltine path you'll find Washington Park w/ tennis courts & natatorium. Head South on the path 1.5 miles to the South Lee & White Brewery District with Monday Night Garage, Wild Heaven, Best End Brewing, & AW Whiskey Distillery and the restaurants, Boxcar at Hops City , Lean Draft House, Golda Kombucha Taproom, and frequent food trucks. Other neighborhood food options include Tassili’s Raw Reality, The Slutty Vegan, Zaxbys, Chick-fil-a, & Busy Bee Cafe. Nearby grocery shopping available is Kroger & Walmart - 1/2 mile away. You will need a car, ride-share, or metro to get around. If you don't have a car, I recommend using Uber or Lyft, it's our preferred method when we don't want to deal with a car. You will find rental e scooters and e bikes in the neighborhood (not guaranteed) I have 2 bikes you may borrow to cruise the beltline path, and ride to the breweries. The Ashby metro station is 3/4 mile from the house, a bus stop is less than a block away. Hwy 20 entrance 1/2 mile. There is plenty of street parking in front of the house. *We have an efficiency unit attached to the home with private entrance, you may hear guests if it is booked. Feel free to inquire about renting both units. *The central AC is for the whole house and wifi enabled, the attached efficiency guests may request a temperature adjustment, we do our best to accomodate all guests. We have a space heater for your added comfort should you need it. The home is typically set at 75 in the summer and 72 in the winter. *We do not allow USPS mail sent to the house because all mail goes to our PO Box and we are not always available to check it. UPS and FedEx is good. *Only registered guests allowed in the home unless previously requested and approved by me. *I personally tend to the garden when I’m in town usually in the mornings, sometimes a few times a week in the Summer. *If you would like to borrow a bike, please let me know in advance.
