The Barn was built in 1810 as a Hay Barn and converted into a cozy living space in 2017. It's a mix of rustic and modern all in one. This unique stay provides a quiet and tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Nestle into the space for relaxation, nature views, meditation, yoga or reading. The space The indoors has a minimalist feel and includes an infrared sauna, lots of natural lighting, Airplay speakers, yoga/meditation props and open space for your practice. The outdoors has a fire pit, small labyrinth for walking meditations and plenty of parking. The kitchen includes a cuisinart convection oven, microwave, mini-refrigerator, coffee and tea maker. Please note, the Barn does not have a full kitchen or a television. We do provide wellness themed books and a small chess board. We have a queen sized bed in a sleeping space that’s partitioned with curtains. The couch is a pull out with a full size bed. We use natural cleaning products and zero artificial fragrances in the space. The vibe is very well maintained with the use of crystals throughout the building and property. Guest access You get the entire Barn to yourself. The parking lot, and yard behind the barn with a fire pit and labyrinth are yours to access. Other things to note We do not accept parties over 4 people. Depending on the season, there is potential that a few bugs or even a country critter may attempt to share the space with you. It's rarely a problem, but it does happen. We work quickly to resolve these issues with our guests. The stairway is a bit steep and may be an issue for someone who has mobility restrictions. Please note, the sleeping space is upstairs and the bathroom downstairs. Wireless speakers are Airplay and only connect to Apple devices only. There is no air conditioning in The Barn, but there is almost always a great cross breeze that blow through the space. We also have large ceiling fans and box fans provided to support your comfort. We have three dogs and one cat that live on the property. We mostly keep them away from the barn, but they may pop over on occasions for a visit.
