Newly renovated first floor apartment in a quiet 3-unit, owner-occupied building on a friendly and vibrant residential street at the foot of Munjoy Hill, in walking distance to several popular restaurant/ brewery districts, incl. Washington Ave (3 minutes), India St (5 minutes) & the Old Port (12 minutes) plus waterfront running routes & East End Beach. Cheery and cozy. Super fast wifi. Plentiful and easy street parking. The space Everything you'll need for a great stay: full kitchen with four-burner gas stove and oven, microwave, toaster, drip and pod coffeemakers, Tuft & Needle queen mattresses in each of the two bedrooms with organic cotton linens (also blackout shades and white noise machines), modern furniture and decor throughout. Private entrance. Free laundry in basement (requires stairs). On-street parking is free and abundant all year round. Guests staying October 15 through May 14 will also have access to covered parking for one car. If you are coming for a special occasion and/ or might need extra things you don't feel like packing or you forgot (flat iron, beach chairs, special cooking or baking appliances or accessories, makeup mirrors etc), feel free to message before or during your stay. We also have a second 2BR apartment upstairs if you are looking for even more space. Please inquire! Lastly — we love return guests! We're happy to extend a discount if you've been here before (just remind us that we've met when you book). Guest access The apartment has a private entrance and shared laundry and storage facilities (available to you) in basement. Other things to note Kitchen comes fully stocked with cookware, utensils, tableware, etc. 48" smart TCL TV (features apps that include Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu that you can sign into with your own accounts). House is newly insulated and super cozy in winter, cool in summer. Tuft & Needle foam mattresses and new bed frames in both bedrooms, plus sound blocking white noise machines and blackout shades. Note: We have tenants on the second floor and you may occasionally hear them walking around as it’s an older home, but they are mindful of guests and respond well to reminders. The dining room (pictured) is convertible to an office. Optional mid-stay cleaning service, as well as pre-arrival or mid-stay grocery shopping, available for additional fee (stays of a month or longer can also opt for a free mid-stay touch-up cleaning). An easy and comfortable home base for lots of Portland adventures. If you are staying with us longer than 7 days, the kitchen and bath will come with enough basics to get you going and then some (salt + pepper, olive oil, coffee; soap, shampoo, TP, etc) but we don't replenish during your stay.
