The Sea Glass Cottage

Nestled in the Beautiful seascape of the Bay Area, this warm and welcoming home is centrally located to everything Monterey, Pacific Grove and Carmel have to offer! The stunning sand dunes by the home and the views of the setting sun on the ocean horizon are sure to impress. The home is in a safe secluded area and offers keypad entry, driveway parking, and 2 car garage. Please note this home is not on the beach. It is on the other side of Highway 1 and the mapped location is accurate. The space This space is beautifully decorated, warm and welcoming! The soaring ceilings, open concept, and bay windows on the main level allow you to experience the beautiful nature that surrounds the area in a unique way. Newly renovated and updated the house offers a Full Kitchen, King beds, TV's in each of the rooms, it is equipped with Xfinity wifi and cable, Netflix , and the ability to house up to 8 guests comfortably. Like many houses in the area, this house has a reverse floor plan. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom on the first level. The third bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living spaces are on the second level. Guest access Guests will have access to all parts of the home with the exception of two closets for storage and supplies. Other things to note The beaches are located on the other side of Highway 1. There are a couple with very close access points to the house. One is the Sand City Beach which is .7 miles away and other is The Eolian Dunes Preserve and that one is about 1 mile away. Both are walkable via sidewalks and have parking areas. I love the Preserve because it’s generally not very busy, you can hunt for sea glass, or just enjoy watching the paragliders. The house is also in very close proximity to the Monterey Bay Coastal Recreation Trail. The closest entrance point is at the Sand City Beach .7 miles away. This trail is 18 miles long and stretches from Castroville through Monterey and into Pacific Grove. You can bike, run or walk along this trail all the way into downtown Monterey (approximately 5 miles each way on the trail).
