Sacred Haven is a new extraordinary custom built tiny home on wheels, not your typical tiny home. The spacious home features higher ceilings, custom wood ceiling and beams and 25 windows. A fantastic kitchen with bar counter. The bedroom has a walk-in closet with skylight to see the stars at night. The views are spectacular from any location and most enjoyable is the expansive deck with a large screened in porch off the side overlooking the pond, hay fields and mountains. NO PETS Sacred Haven sits at the top of a 1800's stone barn foundation, and just a few steps from a historic cemetery dating to the late 1700's, which is enclosed in a wrought-iron metal fence. In April 2022, the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution hosted a dedication of headstones to the Revolutionary War Patriot and his wife. They did amazing research over 2 years to discover living heirs that attended from other states. Please feel free to check out the cemetery next to Sacred Haven. Sit in the living room and enjoy watching tv, feeling the warmth from the beautiful electric fireplace or gaze up at the stars through the skylight and windows above. In warmer weather, enjoy the sunrise and sunset from the screened porch off the spacious deck. NO PETS Entire property access and Sacred Haven Interaction is minimal or not at all. Check in with a coded door lock. We live across the road on our farm property, about 1/2 mile from Sacred Haven. We are available anytime by phone or text and if needed, a short distance drive. Sacred haven sits on a working hay farm with 36 acres of beautiful hay fields, and is surrounded by beautiful mountain views and a pond with a walking bridge. Once you are here, you may just not want to leave. We are also located within 5-10 minute drive to Kindred Point Winery and Cave Ridge Winery and 15 minutes to DeMello Winery at Third Hill and Shenandoah Vineyards and many other Shenandoah Valley wineries. A vehicle is required. Sacred Haven is located off of a gravel dirt road, about 1 mile from the paved road. You can walk or bike ride the back roads. Sacred Haven has one bedroom and one queen sleeper sofa. The space is suitable for 2 adults however, on a case-by-case basis, we may allow up to four people as the space is tight with 4 adults. Children welcome 12 years and older. Not suitable for young children. No PETS WI-FI - limited! We are in a rural area and we cannot get high speed internet. No large streaming or downloading as it will use up the best data plan we could get in less than a day or two. Basic email and social media is fine. We live across the road and we have no high speed access at our own home (which we live full time). There are two mini-split heating and cooling units. One in the bedroom and one in the living/kitchen space. They are new and work extremely well and most guests only use the one in the living space as it heats up (or cools down) into the bedroom. The remote for each unit is stationed on the wall to the side of each unit. The home has significant spray-foam insulation so the heat (or cooling in summer) is retained for quite a while even after turning the units off or down. Instructions are provided on the side table in living area next to the electric fireplace, which fireplace also generates a nice amount of heat. Should you have any difficulty figuring out the units please feel free to message us. Country living: Sacred Haven sits atop a historic stone wall on a 36 acre hay farm. There are insects and animals in the country. You will occasionally see flies, lady bugs, stink bugs, mosquitoes, ants, etc outdoors, be mindful of open doors as some insects can get inside if doors and windows are left open by guests. We clean and sanitize thoroughly after each guest but you may on occasion see an insect inside which is beyond our control. We provide a hand vac so you can suck it up in the vacuum for us to dispose the dead insect later. The home is extensively spray foam insulated and an insect treatment sprayed around the exterior of the home.
