The Mid-Century Modern is more than just another place to stay while visiting Stillwater, it's a trip back in time with its one-of-a kind architecture. Completed in 1962, it was designed to be the house of the future. From it's raised ceilings with partially raised walls, to its unique bathroom heat lamps, the entire house is reminiscent of a set from an early science fiction thriller. (Located near Boomer Lake, just minutes from all that Stillwater has to offer) Listed price is for 2 guests. The space Larger master bedroom has a comfortable queen-sized bed. Also has a nice sitting area for enjoying your morning coffee. Large closets make it easy to unpack, unwind, and relax. Smaller bedroom next door also has a queen-sized bed along with a closet area. Two small bathrooms with shower, sink, and toilet are available from the hallway. Fresh towels and toiletries are provided. Kitchen features all the modern conveniences such as microwave, toaster, Keurig, oven, and stove. It also features a large breakfast "nook" that wraps around the kitchen/stove area and provides as passthru service from the kitchen. The dining room and living room is an open space with vaulted wood ceilings and open windows facing the backyard. The elegant dining table has plenty of space with seating for 6. The living room features a power-reclining couch and two large recliners, all focused on the 65-inch HDTV. Netflix and YouTube are built-in as well as an antenna for picking up local stations. 2022 Updates - We have pulled all the carpet from the house and it has been replaced with laminate hardwood. This provides a cleaner look and helps keep the house cleaner without carpet trapping all that Oklahoma dust. We have updated the flooring in the kitchen as well. We have also remodeled the "blue" bathroom that is shown in the pictures. Now you'll find a more modern stand-up corner shower, marble tile floors and walls, and a floating vanity with more light. This updated look means we probably have to update the "pink" bathroom as well. Expect updated photos soon. Also note, the house has been listed for sale. Previously this was listed on Zillow as FSBO. It's been listed with a real estate agent for the 2nd half of 2021. Expect the listing to return to the market soon. The listing doesn't affect reservations as we are not doing full year bookings. We are currently only booking 1-2 months out. This bookings would not be impacted by a contract on the house. Guest access The front entryway has a keypad lock. Upon check-in, you'll receive the 4-digit entry code. There is plenty of parking off-street.
