The farmhouse where you will stay, built in the late 1700s, is located on the property with The Outlaw Brewing Company brewery and taproom. Located on 5+ open acres this rural but easily accessible location is a great place to get away. Kitchen area with fridge, freezer, coffee pot (coffee and creamer included), and microwave. Grill on deck for guest use. The living room area has a comfy chaise couch with a TV. The window A/C unit is in this area during the warmer months. The bedroom has a queen bed, bureau, and closet. Unpack and stay a bit. Bookcase with a collection of books for you to enjoy during your stay. Private bathroom with shower attached to the bedroom. Fire pit with logs for guest use near the rental or come to the brewery and sit around the fire pit there. WiFi: rural WiFi can be slow to non-existent. If you HAVE to have WiFi make other plans. Data can be difficult depending on the provider as we are in a valley. There are Wifi boosters in the unit. It is not an Alexa or other similar device. If you disconnect it you are reducing the amount of Wi-Fi signal you can get. There is no TV subscription/no live TV. People from all backgrounds are welcome here. Check-in and check-out times can be somewhat flexible. If you need something different, just ask. Sheets, towels, and extra blankets are provided. The kitchen area has mugs, glasses, dishes, and silverware. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap are provided for the bathroom as well. Private entrance, your own deck, living space, kitchen area (no stove), bedroom and bathroom with shower. Private deck for Suite 1 guest use only. We live onsite. You are staying onsite at a working business. Staff is onsite most days for help if we are not around. We are available if you need us but won’t seek you out. It is self-check-in & check-out. It is a rural, quiet country road. No close neighbors to speak of besides local wildlife. It is very dark at night. No street lights. Great place to see stars on cloudless nights. Because it is rural people do hunt in the area. You could hear gunfire, ATVs, etc. There are laws about how far away hunters/recreational firearm activity has to be from a residential structure but because of the valley it does echo. Being rural there is wildlife & insects. Ladybugs & hornets are the two most common invaders it seems. Depending on the year, day or season they can be a nuisance. We do our best to make sure they stay outside & away from entrances & windows. In 200+ year old house it’s a battle. Free parking on site. Shared with the other Suite. No Uber, Lyft or Taxis but maybe one day! We do have employees that on occasion have driven guests to local places when asked & if available. If you need something like that, just let us know. We are close to Northfield MA, Brattleboro VT, Orange MA (filming location of Castle Rock), Keene NH (filming location for Jumanji) Bring your snowmobiles in the winter, trails near by (check trails before heading out), ice fishing on nearby Forest Lake (make sure you have a NH fishing license), boating and swimming on same lake in the summer. Tulley Pond in Orange Ma is another great area for recreation with swimming and walking trails. Looking for stuff to do? Just ask us.
