Introducing Spyglass Ridge Chalet - a beautifully renovated mountain property in the Blue Ridge Mountains! Perfect for a couples getaway, families or groups of friends! Situated directly between Lake Blue Ridge and Lake Nottely, Spyglass Ridge is a short 20 minute drive from the attractions of downtown Blue Ridge. *Renter must be at least 25 years of age and must be present during entire booked stay. The space Spyglass Ridge offers an array of activities, all with the backdrop of the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains. Wake up in the morning and enjoy your coffee on our beautiful screened-in porch while soaking in the peaceful surroundings or sitting in the loft - gazing at the mountains from the wingback chairs, before heading out for a day of adventures. Return from a day of exploring and jump in the 6-person hot tub or embark in some friendly competition with your friends and family – choose between cornhole, Jumbo Connect Four, Giant Jenga or foosball tournaments! Enjoy dinner on the grill, dine al fresco and take in one of the gorgeous sunsets from the porch. Unwind while toasting smores in the outdoor fireplace, all while watching your favorite team or tv show on the 50” outdoor TV. Or end the evening enjoying a bonfire in the rustic, hillside fire pit surrounded by six Adirondack chairs. The centerpiece of Spyglass Ridge is the soaring two story, stacked stone fireplace with 70” TV, soundbar and gas log fireplace. The chalet is ideal for a wide variety of guests, including a romantic couple’s weekend, family getaway or friends’ weekend in the mountains. The chalet boasts dual king master retreats with en suite bathrooms, one on each floor. The loft is outfitted with two extra long twin beds, which can easily be slid together to create a king bed. The upstairs master bath has a large garden tub as well as a kid’s loft, complete with beanbag chair and lighting. Spyglass Ridge offers a serene mountainside escape with a convenient location leading to a variety of nearby grocery stores, boutique shops, wineries and breweries. Up to 2 dogs are welcome as long as the pet policy is adhered to. There is a one-time $100 fee per stay which covers up to two dogs. Please note the fee is a separate charge sent over after booking is confirmed. Other things to note Fortunately, Spyglass Ridge is easily accessible with most all vehicles; 4 wheel drive is not necessary. The property is located in a high end mountain community with well-maintained mountain roads, however about 0.75 miles of the road is a single-lane gravel road, with opportunities to allow other vehicles to pass if necessary. The roads leading to the property are mostly flat with some gentle slopes, which is unique for a property in this area with mountain views! Note that we do not recommend driving low profile sports cars to this property due to the gravel road. Note that the area behind the cabin is a natural space, not a mowed yard. We typically decorate for Christmas, though timing of decoration set up and take down varies. Decorations consist of a Christmas tree and stockings. Weather conditions and county issued burn bans may affect guests’ ability to use the fire pit or grill. We follow all burn ban rules for the safety of everyone. Weather conditions are beyond the owner’s control.
