Clockview Suite

Description

Guests will enjoy our third-floor suite all to themselves with access to a private entrance using the exterior stairs. The view of Lancaster Clock Towers couldn't be any more perfect from the north side windows. The patio oasis is available anytime for guests and we welcome all to join in any events we may have planned. Copper Cup Cafe is within a stones-throw and provides a great atmosphere for your early morning pick-me-up. F&M College is only three blocks away with a public dog park. The space This top floor retreat boasts a queen sized bed, private kitchenette, cute little bathroom with claw foot tub. The tub is “European" style for sitting down and relaxing with a handheld shower-head only. Towels and washcloths are provided to all our guests. The interior is bright and open with windows facing every direction bringing in sunlight throughout the day. The kitchenette is perfect for serving take-out meals from local restaurants, or for preparing your own meals with a "grillet" and electric cooktop (double burner). A mini fridge is provided to cool your beverages and save any perishables. Guest access Feel free to use the back patio and tables. As with any Airbnb, it’s always an experience and we’re no exception. If you’re deathly afraid of heights or climbing a stepladder makes your knees quake, then this place is not for you. The steps are shown in the pictures for your discretion. We cannot give refunds If you skip reading this description and you’re surprised upon arrival. Other things to note This quaint little town is America's best kept secret! We have over twelve breweries in the county with six brewpubs in the downtown area alone. Many other local pubs and sports bars provide food, libations, and entertainment for everyone's fancy and dining couldn't be more diverse. Himalayan grill provides authentic Nepalese and Indian cuisine, Sukura for Asian-fusion, Tellus360 for some good 'ol Irish pie, and some amazing Vietnamese food (Rice & Noodle) just outside of the city (with a newly-opened sister cafe in town). Lancaster's history runs deep among the residents and is celebrated every year on September 27th, deemed Capital Day. This is the one day that Lancaster was hailed as the capital of the United States and is proudly demonstrated with music, singing, and whatever jolly good time that one can find. Thistle Finch Distillary is within walking distance. Springhouse Brewery, Levengoods Cidery, Meduseld Meadery, The Fridge (boasting over 300 bottled beers and craft pizza), Shot & Bottle, Lancaster Brewing Company, and the Horse Inn are all local favorites. So much more! We typically begin our day around 7am, so I’m sure you may hear us a bit as we get things started. No bugles, I promise. We encourage our guests to use the dwelling and patio for entertaining additional persons, but we are in a quiet neighborhood and highly respect our neighbors so all guests beyond the original booking must leave by 10pm on weekdays and 11pm on weekends. Plus, we treasure our sleep. If you’re looking to entertain throughout the night, then please find a different location that better suites your personality.
