Come enjoy this secluded Camp site in awesome comfort! The new Bunkhouse is taking Glamping at Whisper Creek to a whole new level. This cozy little structure offers the ultimate in night time sleep. Offering AC and/or Heat along with big windows for cool evenings and forest breezes. It is a tight space with a full size bed for a great night sleep. Basic bed linens are provided. Please bring sleeping bags or blankets for your additional comfort. This includes towels. The outdoor shower is Devine! The space This is a very private and quiet location. You can settle in knowing that this listing includes a covered picnic area. Which has counter space for food prep and cooking that includes a small sink. This Listing includes: Bunkhouse #1, with heat/ac, full size bed with linens. Bunkhouse #2, is screened in with a bunkbed with full size mattresses, no linens included. A frame style screened in Treehouse, great for a single camper. You must bring a sleeping pad and bedding. As mentioned above, covered picnic area and outhouse. We are located within an hour from Wintergreen, numerous wineries, craft beer locations and numerous hiking destinations. River access to the James River is a short drive to Howardsville. There you will also find a General Store which offers you the basics, such as Beer, Wine, Ice and a few grocery items. They make the best homemade sandwiches and grilled burgers. Direct river access can be provided via prior special request. I can also provide shuttling services. But this needs to be mentioned well before your stay. NOTE: The outdoor shower is NOT available from Oct to March due to a freezing risk. Other things to note NOTICE: Whisper Creek campsite is a very private setting. Although you will be approx. 40 to 60 yards from the main house. Even further away is bunkhouse #2, which is 80 yards from the house. Linens are not included. I offer a short term rental experience in the lower level of my house so you may see these folks from afar at times. Things are spread out, it does require a little walking to move about from each spot. But the Picnic Shelter is central to it all providing for a good place to sit relax and have a fire. This will be where you park your vehicles. NOTE: The outdoor shower is NOT available from Oct to March due to a freezing risk.
