Ozark Natural Science Center is located in the heart of the Ozarks, surrounded by 15,000 acres of wilderness. It's the perfect place to host a reunion, retreat, or wedding. This listing is for one of our 3 lodges, Tyson Lodge, which sleeps up to 20 people. We have a total of 3 lodges, a retreat house, and several apartments. The space This lodge has 4 rooms that have two bunk beds each, and 1 room with two twin beds. There is a private bathroom in each room. The lodge has a living room and covered deck, but no kitchen. There is a small refrigerator in the living room, and a grill with a cooktop on the porch of the lodge. For larger events, we have another listing for our event hall where we cater meals, or you can rent one of our apartments or the Neaville house, all of which have a full kitchen. Guest access The lodge is all yours during your stay. Ask about other spaces if you want to use more of the campus. We will give you space but can come help if you need us. This listing only includes the Tyson Lodge. It does not include the event hall or pavilion, so this listing does not include access to a full kitchen. Please inquire if you would like to rent an additional apartment or Neaville Retreat House, all of which include full kitchens. Other things to note While we routinely deep clean and treat for pests, the lodge is located in a natural environment. If you have any phobias regarding insects and other critters, this listing may not be for you. Cell service is limited, but we do have WiFi. The closest town with a Wal-Mart is 15 miles away from the campus. The closest gas station is 6 miles away from the campus. Make sure that you purchase all food, drinks, toiletries and other supplies needed prior to your arrival on campus. Also please bring sunscreen, bug repellant, and a flashlight for your safety at night to be able to view our walking paths and trails.
