Overlooking the town of Elora, the Elora Gorge and the Canada Trail, the Cottontail Coach House is located on the farm of one of the founding builders of Elora. Our location provides an unparalleled country setting from which to visit Elora, Fergus, Elmira, St. Jacobs and surrounding areas. The Coach House is a perfect location for families, friends or that ideal wedding or anniversary celebration. The space Whether you are waking up to a beautiful sunrise over the town of Elora, enjoying a coffee with horses in your “backyard”, or are inspired by magical sunsets around an evening campfire, your stay at the Cottontail Coach House provides a truly unique location to enjoy and explore the beauty of Centre Wellington and the greater Kitchener/Waterloo area. Minutes to the town of Elora, the Cottontail Coach House offers ~1,400 sq. ft. of living accommodation for up to six guests (parking for up to three cars). Fully renovated in 2020, the coach house is a self-contained apartment that has three bedrooms (one king, one queen and one double bed), 4-piece bathroom, full kitchen (including dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, stove, Keurig Coffee maker and coffee, fridge and dishwasher), dining and living room. The Coach House has an outdoor patio with 2 chairs and table as well as a gas BBQ. The coach house provides stunning views of the town of Elora, our century barn, our 1870 farmhouse as well as our horse pasture where the horses are literally in your backyard. There is a patio with chairs and table to help in enjoying the property. Other things to note The double bedroom is located on the lower level of the coach house and is not fully separated from the entrance to the coach house. There is a a half wall separating the room from the entryway. The room does not have a door and is open to the staircase that accesses the second floor.
