Preserved Old City Hall is a historic city landmark with a lot of old stories to tell. Eber Culver, one of Williamsport’s foremost architects, designed the five-story building of yellow brick trimmed in stone with molded brick ornamentation and terra cotta columns. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Pla The space Williamsport has certainly seen its share of flooding (1889, 1936, 1972, and 2011) since considered “swampland” in Ross’ days. During the “Great Flood of 1889,” at Williamsport's Susquehanna boom, an estimated 150- to 200-million feet of logs and 160,000 to 170,000 feet of sawed lumber were swept away. But don’t worry; this room offers great view of the city from “much higher ground.” This room features a sleeper sofa to accomodate up to two additional guests and a kitchenette.
