Preserved Old City Hall is a historic city landmark with a lot of old stories to tell. Eber Culver, one of Williamsport’s foremost architects, designed the five-story building of yellow brick trimmed in stone with molded brick ornamentation and terra cotta columns. Built in 1893, it features two towers: a large rectangular tower and a smaller octagonal tower, both of which have been incorporated into the hotel’s unique design. During the “Great Flood of 1889,” at Williamsport's Susquehanna boom, an estimated 150- to 200-million feet of logs and 160,000 to 170,000 feet of sawed lumber were swept away. But don’t worry; this room offers great view of the city from “much higher ground.” This room features a sleeper sofa to accomodate up to two additional guests and a kitchenette.
