This newly remodeled home is a cozy, peaceful gem. Expansive ocean views include the dramatic Marin coastline and sparkling lights of San Francisco. The house is located within an easy walk to the beach, and many of the Marin Headlands best hiking and biking trails are right out the door. With only 20 minutes to San Francisco and an easy drive to the Wine Country or further up the coast it makes it a perfect home for your California coast adventure! The space The Haiku House is a one bedroom home with two full bathrooms, one in the bedroom loft with a shower and one on the main floor with a bathtub. It has a light filled open floor plan, with a glass skylight in the peak of the vaulted ceiling filling the house with light during the day and letting you watch the stars from your bed at night. The fully equipped kitchen, including a gas grill on the deck, is ready for you to cook to your hearts delight. Kitchen amenities include a full set of All Clad stainless steel cookware, Quisinart food processor, blender, Pannini maker, waffle iron, and toasterto name a few. It also has several ways to make coffee: standard drip, Keurig, French press, or pour-over (filters provided). It has a charming wood burning stove, for cozy evening fires, but also a forced air furnace for anytime warmth. Firewood is provided. The wrap around deck with glass doors on all four sides of the house gives you access to to enjoy the expansive ocean views as well as our charming wildlife neighbors, the deer, foxes and the occasional raccoon. Full size laundry appliances are also on hand. The internet and Wifi connections are strong as noted by my guests that have spent time working here from their home away from home in the tranquility of this beautiful setting. Level 1 EV charging is available in the carport for a nominal fee (simply the cost of the electricity used). Guest access You have full and private access to the main house. The house has a dedicated two car carport - a rare commodity in this neighborhood! You also have easy access to the beach below. Gather sea glass or dip your toes in the waves! A separate entrance in-law unit under the house is reserved for my occasional use. Other things to note My house is located on an uphill slope, so there are stairs and landings up to the house from the carport. They are not strenuous, but just to note that the house is not wheelchair/disabled accessible.
