Makin' Memories is situated in a quaint mountain community just 1.2 miles from Hwy 515 and 10 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge and 15 minutes to downtown Ellijay. We fell in love with the privacy the cabin offers yet so close to the abundance of local activities the area offers. Featuring 2 bedrooms & 1 bathroom it is the perfect getaway for a couple or small family. The space Makin’ Memories is a true log cabin and features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Our cabin is situated on a private lot with professional landscaping and a seasonal view of the mountains with a brand new hot tub! The family room has plenty of seating, cozy blankets, and a wood burning fireplace with a smart TV. The fully stocked kitchen featuring leathered granite countertops and stainless appliances overlooks the family room and has everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal and enjoy dinner around the craftsman log dining table. We have a fully stocked coffee bar with a Keurig and french press to enjoy a mug of hot coffee on the screened porch. The master bedroom is rustic chic with a queen size bed, dresser, closet, luggage stand, and smart TV. Watch the sun rise over the mountain while laying in bed The second bedroom has a twin over full bunkbed perfect for a family traveling with children. It also has a tv with a firestick, arcade game console, and plenty of board games to entertain the entire family. Most people will find themselves spending their time enjoying the multiple outdoor spaces at Makin’ Memories. The screened in porch that spans the front of the cabin is perfect for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. Dinner al fresco is also an option where you can enjoy the outdoor dining area. We have a Blackstone along with a propane grill. The lower deck has a solo stove and seating for s'mores and campfire stories under the stars. There is also a life size Connect 4, tic tac toe, and the ring game on the porch. Unwind in the hot tub on the lower deck surrounded by twinkle lights and the night sky. The Hidden Lake neighborhood is perfect for taking a walk around the community lake which is right across the street and there are plenty of local hiking areas. We look forward to having you as our guests! The Blue Ridge area is one of the top mountain vacation destinations because it offers so much to do but is also a beautiful place to come and do nothing at all. There are apple orchards, wineries, breweries, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, zip lining, restaurants, shopping, boating, swimming, tubing, fishing, and more! Our cabin is professionally cleaned between each guests and all linens, towels, and a starter set of toilet paper and paper towels are provided. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions!
