Robbie’s Rest: Amazing Mountaintop Sunrises

2020 new unit with nice deck, wonderful mountain scape with amazing sunrises from your deck or the deck of the main house where host lives. 8 acres that sit where the rolling hills meet the mountains overlooking the Daniel Boone Forest. 35 miles from Lexington, you will enjoy the peace & quiet of the beautiful mountains. Minutes away from the trails, waterfalls & attractions of Natural Bridge State Park & the Red River Gorge! We hope you will visit us soon! *Sunrise is not always visible The space Red River Gorge & Natural Bridge parks are our playground! Beautiful sunrises right outside your door! Deer, wild turkey & other visitors daily! Come sit a while on the main house front porch gaze at the mountains from the side porch or guest house deck! Guest access Guest house, main house decks & 8 acres. Other things to note We have a gravel circle driveway. When arriving please use entrance across from mailbox. When departing please exit using the drive by the shed. Hot Tub - please help us keep our hottub clean by showering off after hiking or outdoor activity before entering! Controls are on outside edge (tree line side). Access hot tub from pool deck. Please place hot tub cover on deck to keep debris out of hot tub. Be sure to cover it back up once not in use! Hot tub warnings are listed in pictures. Please bring your own pool towels. Pool is for your enjoyment! It’s only 4’ deep so no diving! Grill sits on main house back deck just past the cat walk. You will find 2 yellow bins beside it with charcoal, lighter fluid & a lighter. In the bottom bin you will find extra firewood for the firepit. Firepit - please keep screen on unless you are roasting hotdogs / marshmallows. Be sure the fire is fully extinguished before heading into the guest house. Please remove fire pit cover & place on deck hook behind bench. If you need roasting sticks let us know! Air units controller is located in bedroom on the wall beside the bed. Key to unit is on fireplace along with controllers for tv & DVD player. We leave some treats for all of our guests! You will find Crabtree’s Candies on the tray, ale 8 - local ginger ale soda in the fridge & during your stay a loaf of homemade bread will be delivered with butter & locally made jams! Beginning November 1, 2023 security cameras will be activated for entrance, parking & exit areas. No cameras will be located near guests outside space / entrance to guest unit.
