Tucked away in a tranquil urban oasis, the space is filled with natural light and boasts a private garden entrance. Wake up refreshed in the crisp, white bedroom and slide open the rustic barn door for a coffee on the patio of this zen retreat. The space This spacious urban garden retreat is complete with one-bedroom with a king bed, vaulted ceilings, full bathroom (shower only), and a fully equipped kitchen with combined living space. The garden suite is detached from the main house, so offers complete privacy. Skylights, French doors, and lots of windows provide an abundance of natural light. There is (1) Twin blow-up-mattress available, perfect for kids or an extra adult to sleep on. (Please no more than two adults and two kids OR three adults during your visit). Complementary tea and coffee are provided along with a long list of nearby restaurant recommendations. There’s a growler available for filling, which you can do at N.W.I.P.A. (Northwest IPA) on Foster Road and at many local breweries and grocery stores nearby. Other amenities include WIFI, a 40” TV in the living area with a sound bar that doubles as a Bluetooth speaker for your favorite music – also perfect for movie watching after a full day of exploring Portland. The television has local channels through the antenna, plus MAX and Netflix for streaming. We also have a record player and records for your listening pleasure. Downtown Portland is only a 15 minute drive away and can be easily accessed via the 9 bus line, with the nearest bus stop just steps away. The main house on the property is occupied. We are available via the Airbnb app or phone if you need anything during your stay. The property sits between the trendy Foster-Powell neighborhood and hip Division St in southeast Portland. Food carts, restaurants, shops, and grocery markets are all within walking distance or a short drive and there's easy access to public transit. We are lucky in Portland to have so many great public transit options! The number 9 Westbound bus line offers frequent service, and is only a 2-3 minute walk away depending on if you are eastbound or westbound. #9 westbound connects you to the MAX Light Rail at OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science & Industry) and continues downtown where you can navigate your way throughout the entire public transit system. We are a 20 min drive from the PDX airport. You can also easily transfer between the #9 bus and the PDX Airport MAX (red line). Guest access You will receive a personalized pin code as your key to access and lock up the space during your visit. There is a separate entrance from the driveway into the garden retreat space. The walkway passes by our main house garden, and then enters into your own private environment.
